Dead On Arrival procedure can be implemented by end buyer or retailer. DOA does not include software malfunctions, BIOS upgrades, driver upgrades and software reinstallation.
The procedure can only be implemented, if all of the following conditions are met.
The DOA procedure for end buyes: End buyer implements the DOA procedure within 7 days of the day of purchase at the retailer. The product must be received by the retailer in its original packaging, without damages and with all the equipment that was included at the time it was bought. When returning a device it is compulsory to include the proof of purchase (invoice) and return of product (record) of the DOA procedure. The DOA procedure for retailer: The retailer implements the DOA procedure within 30 days of the day of purchase from wholesaler-distributor. The product must be returned in its original packaging, without damages and with all the equipment and with necessary documentation – at least the invoice from the distributor
